Russia says to invest 570 bln rbl till 2030 in LHG projects
MOSCOW, Jul 8 (PRIME) -- Investment in liquefied hydrocarbon gas (LHG) projects in Russia can amount to 570 billion rubles in 2020–2030 and in ethane to 1.6 trillion rubles, the Energy Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Taking into account the potential projects of Russian companies, investment in petrochemical projects can amount to a total of about 3.1 trillion rubles in 2020–2030, including 570 billion rubles in LHG projects, 1.6 trillion rubles in ethane projects," the ministry said.
The ministry also said that the investment coefficient in excise refund in oil refining will attract 800 million–1 trillion rubles of investment in construction of about 30 utilities in the next 6–10 years.
On Tuesday, the government submitted a bill on oil refining and petro- and gas chemicals industry support to the State Duma, parliament's lower chamber.
